It’s formulated to reduce the appearance of sun spots and hyperpigmentation with natural ingredients to reduce skin pigmentation in 6 to 8 weeks.
Prolonged exposure to the sun can result in sun spots, freckles and blemishes.1
Lomelin uses a combination of two natural ingredients proven to work together to lighten pigmentation or reduce skin melanization.
(4-hydroxyphenyl-alpha-D-glucopyranoside)
Alpha arbutin is a new type of hydroquinone glucoside with an alphaglucosyl bond. This reduces skin melanization by 24% compared to non-treated skin.1
(Nature-based citrus unshiu peel extract)
A nature-based citrus unshiu peel extract. This reduces skin melanization by 28% compared to non-treated skin.2
By tapping into two key natural ingredients, it reduces skin melanization by a significant margin compared to non-treated skin. Over a 6-to 8-week period you’ll notice a gradual but noticeable improvement in your skin tone ¹ ². It’s important to note that hyperpigmentation is a common condition in which patches of skin become darker than the surrounding area. This happens when an excess of melanin, the brown pigment that produces normal skin colour, forms deposits creating dark spots. This can happen through sun damage, with hormonal changes like pregnancy and with aging as the skin starts to lose its uniform skin tone.
Lomelin is safe and effective for dark spots caused by aging, hormonal changes and sun exposure.
Lomelin has a unique formula consisting of natural ingredients.
Lomelin is an affordable alternative to expensive laser treatments with lengthy recovery periods.

Melanin is a complex polymer derived from the amino acid tyrosine. Melanin is responsible for determining skin and hair colour. It is present in the skin to varying degrees, depending on how much a population has been exposed to the sun historically. Skin color is determined primarily by melanin, a biopolymer that is synthesized within epidermal melanocytes, packaged in cellular organelles called melanosomes, and then dispersed to neighboring keratinocytes. The process of melanogenesis involves numerous molecules and intracellular path-ways that are subject to regulation by endogenous and exogenous factors.⁴ There are two forms of pigment melanin: 1) Eumelanin granules, which tend to be round and smooth, and produce black and brown skin pigmentation. 2) Phaeomelanin granules, which are more irregular in shape, and are more prominent in lighter skin, particularly in association with red hair and freckles.
Freckles (sun and genetics): Small flat brown marks arising on the face and other sun exposed areas.
Lentigines (sun, age, and hormones): Larger flat brown spots on the face and hands arising in middle age and from sun damage exposure. Commonly known as age spots or liver spots, solar lentigo. Lentigines are due to localized proliferation of melanocytes.
Melasma (genetics, pregnancy, hormones, sun): also known as chloasma in pregnancy appears as a blotchy, brownish pigmentation due to overproduction of melanin.
Results will be gradual; it can take up to 6-8 weeks to see a noticeable difference.
Lomelin can be used on any skin type with hyperpigmentation.
Apply a sunblock/sunscreen SPF 15 or higher every 4 to 6 hours as recommended by the Canadian Dermatology Association. Skin will be more sensitive to the sun after application of Lomelin.
